Focus and discipline
Ron Sommers is interested in tangible results. He's interested in solving problems and effectuating change. His practice area is primarily bankruptcy. Ron serves as appointed Trustee in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy proceedings, as appointed Receiver in state and federal court litigation matters, and as counsel for official unsecured creditor committees in Chapter 11 proceedings. A certified mediator, he has also represented corporations and individuals seeking out-of-court assistance or Chapter 11 reorganization.
Ron believes that sharing knowledge within the group makes everybody stronger and delivers a better product for clients. It's a culture he's nurtured in the firm since 1976. When he's not doing that, you'll find him spending as much time as he can outdoors, preferably with his grandchildren.
