Dedication and desire
Andy Dillon has been interested in government and politics as long as he can remember. It's an interest that, as a high school student, inspired him to apply for and earn a sponsorship from iconic New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan to be a United States Senate Page, where Andy noticed the law pedigrees of many of the Senators. Andy's interest in and passion for government and politics led him to law school after college. After law school, he worked as a securities lawyer with a Wall Street law firm before moving to Houston in 2002 and joining Nathan Sommers Jacobs. Here, his practice is primarily in real estate and general corporate matters, with a growing sub-practice focused on estate planning.
In real estate, Andy's practice includes acquisitions, sales, leases and development of shopping centers, office buildings, mixed-use centers, condominiums, apartments, residential and commercial land development, construction, representation of condominium owners' associations, real estate-based disputes and representing lenders and borrowers in real estate loan transactions. In the corporate arena, his focus is on formation, governance, dissolution, and windup of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and other business entities. Andy also negotiates and drafts contracts in connection with general corporate matters such as asset purchase agreements.
Away from the office, Andy spends his time with his wife and their two young daughters.
